ESPN digital platforms had their second-most page views of 2023 with Monday’s story by Michael Fletcher about former NFLer Michael Oher’s allegations that his adoptive family, the Tuohys, -- subjects of the Academy Award-winning film "The Blind Side" -- made millions off of what Oher is calling a “lie.” The story ranked just behind the piece from Jan. 2 reporting that Damar Hamlin was in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest on the field during the Bills-Bengals “MNF” game. Rounding out the top five for ESPN digital platforms for page views this year are the May 14 piece about Grizzlies G Ja Morant being suspended after his gun video, a July 25 piece on Bronny James being stable after suffering a cardiac arrest and news from Feb. 8 that the Lakers were getting D’Angelo Russell as part of a three-team trade.
