Livestreamer Ludwig Ahgren is organizing an event in conjunction with Chess.com and Supercell to compete across chess and the mobile games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. The main production will come from the Chess.com studio in Paris. Despite working with three of the most popular online games on the market, significant sponsorship opportunities are not being sought. “We wanted to keep [the broadcast] very ‘pure’ and focused on a celebration of the games,” Austin Gasparini, director of business development for Chess.com, tells SBJ.
