Michigan’s 30-24 win over Ohio State on Saturday (No. 3 over No. 2 in the country) delivered college football’s best regular-season audience since 2011 -- and a record CFB audience for Fox. The “Big Noon Saturday” game drew 19.1 million viewers, which is the sport’s best regular-season figure since Alabama-LSU drew just over 20 million in primetime on CBS in 2011. The 19.1 million viewers is up 11% from 17.1 million viewers last year, which was Fox’s previous record for a CFB game (the same game also set a Fox record in 2021 with 16.5 million). Meanwhile, Alabama’s thrilling win over Auburn delivered 9.1 million viewers on CBS in the 3:30pm ET window on Saturday, up 45% from the same game last year (6.3 million), but down 12% from 2021 (10.4 million).
