Baltimore is "poised to ban the use of tobacco by athletes and fans inside the city’s professional sports stadiums" with the advancement of a piece of legislation backed by the Orioles. The bill would "prohibit the use of all forms of tobacco inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium" (BALTIMORE SUN, 1/24).
The Guardians are "opening a temporary team store" on the Gateway Plaza outside the left-field gate. The store, which is "a result of the Guardians’ ongoing renovation project," "will be open on game days and non-game days" beginning Monday, April 8, for the season (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 1/24).
