FIFA unveiled the match schedule for the 2025 Club World Cup on Saturday with the "bulk of the tournament" hosted by football stadiums with seating of at least 65,000, while it "chose only four smaller stadiums built for MLS teams." Football stadiums in Atlanta, Charlotte and greater Miami will host two matches apiece in the round of 16. Orlando and Philadelphia will handle one each. Two Orlando stadiums are involved: Camping World Stadium (65,000) and Inter&Co Stadium (25,000). The only two venues west of the Mississippi -- Seattle’s Lumen Field and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California -- will be "used in the group stage only." D.C. and Nashville will "host the fewest matches," with three each. The tournament, running from June 14 to July 13, will culminate at MetLife Stadium, which is hosting the most matches of any venue at nine (WASHINGTON POST, 12/7).
