DAZN continues to collect sports properties, now adding rights to the 2025 Reserve Cup from Miami to its platform.
The tournament features the top padel players and takes place Jan. 23-25, with DAZN broadcasting it live and free worldwide. The contract is only for this event, and content will live on the platform for three months. DAZN handled negotiations, while Range Sports repped the property in talks with DAZN. Financial terms were not disclosed.
It’s the latest in sports rights deals for DAZN, which locked in the 2025 Club World Cup streaming agreement from FIFA last month. Previous deals include NFL Travel Pass and some NWSL/Women’s Super League rights. The streaming service is reportedly nearing a deal with Saudi Arabia for a 10% stake in the company.
In this week's edition of Sports Business Journal, SBJ Publisher & Executive Editor Abe Madkour writes about DAZN’s growing business and connections to FIFA.
