In the second year of DAZN’s partnership with the NFL, the streaming platform saw Game Pass increase its paid subscriber base by 23% year-over-year.
While DAZN declined to break out subscriber numbers, the company added that free users of the international service also grew 47% YOY by Super Bowl LIX.
DAZN picked up the rights to the NFL Game Pass international package in 2023 as part of a 10-year deal. The service excludes the U.S. and China, but last fall DAZN debuted NFL Travel Pass, which allows U.S. fans traveling internationally to access NFL games.
This year DAZN launched NFL Game Pass on Amazon channels in six markets (UK, France, Germany, Australia, Mexico and Brazil). In the current deal, 17 games are available per week in five different languages.
