The PGA Tour’s momentum on the corporate side is continuing this week, as it’s added another Official Marketing Partner through a deal with Delta Air Lines. Under the deal, which has been termed as multiyear in length, Delta becomes the official global airline of both the tour and PGA Tour Champions.

Financials weren’t disclosed; Delta was supported in deal talks with the tour by Octagon. Delta SkyMiles members will get access to TPC courses, including TPC Sawgrass. PGA Tour content will also be available to passengers on Delta flights.

“The tour is in a really strong position, we see them thriving and continuing to grow,” said Alicia Tillman, Delta’s CMO. “There’s a deep investment in the experience, in players and the game itself.”

This isn’t Delta’s first sponsorship in golf, as it also has ambassador deals with Nelly Korda, Rose Zhang, Tony Finau, Patrick Cantlay and Stewart Cink.

Delta is replacing United Airlines in the category.

The deal continues a run of momentum for the tour, which recently renewed title sponsorships with Valspar, 3M and RSM, as well as adding Stanley 1913 as another OMP.
