The Baltimore Orioles named TONY MAYHOFF vice president of corporate partnerships. Mayhoff was senior vice president and chief commercial officer at JR Motorsports.

BASKETBALL

The Los Angeles Sparks named JOE QUINN senior director of communications. Quinn was director of communications with the American Flag Football League.

COLLEGES

Southern Methodist University hired DAMON EVANS as athletic director. Evans held the same role at the University of Maryland.

The University of Pittsburgh named BRANT UST senior deputy athletic director of administration and KYLE BRUCE senior deputy athletic director of external relations and chief revenue officer. Ust was senior associate athletic director at the Air Force Academy. Bruce was senior associate athletic director of strategic engagement at the University of Mississippi.

COMMISSIONS AND TOURISM

The Charlotte Sports Foundation announced DANNY MORRISON will step down as CEO. Current Chief Operating Officer WILL PITTS will assume the CEO role on April 1.

FACILITIES

Oak View Group named BRIAN KRAJEWSKI general manager of PPL Center in Allentown, Pa.

LABOR AND AGENTS

Klutch Sports Group hired KAYDEN MOLOCK as sports and brand insights manager. Molock was manager of the performance and insights team at Wasserman.

The NFLPA announced TOM DEPASO is retiring as general counsel. DePaso joined the union as a staff lawyer in 1984.

MARKETING

Fuse, part of Omnicon Media Group, promoted MARIUS RAMDAHL to head of Fuse Nordics.

Octagon promoted ALASTAIR GARLAND to managing director of its tennis division.

Wasserman named PETER JARMAIN vice president of its Wasserman Live division across Australia and APAC. Jarmain was chief marketing officer at Alta Global Group.

MEDIA

KMH Integration named DON SPERLING senior vice president of broadcast and digital engagement. Sperling was senior vice president and executive producer for the New York Giants.

MOTORSPORTS

Friends of Laguna Seca hired MEL HARDER as president and general manager of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Harder was team manager at Chip Ganassi Racing.

MULTITEAM ORGANIZATIONS

Monumental Sports & Entertainment hired AJ JONES II as executive vice president and chief strategic and corporate communications officer. Jones was chief corporate affairs officer at Starbucks.

RETAIL

Foot Locker promoted DANA YACYK to vice president of global communications.

SOCCER

The USL Championship’s Detroit City FC named JULIE BOYD chief financial officer. Boyd held the same role with the Kansas City Current.

Liverpool FC announced SUSAN BLACK will step down as director of communications at the end of the season. CRAIG EVANS will be promoted to senior vice president of communications on June 1.

The Seattle Sounders and Seattle Reign FC announced TOM RILEY is stepping down as chief financial officer on April 30.
