Talent and experiential agency Wasserman is flexing its creative muscles with new ads for MLBShop.com.

“Talk Shop,” the new campaign in English and Spanish, portrays MLB licensed gear an extension of personality with testimonials from some especially impassioned fans. The spots will run in 30- and 10-second versions across broadcast, digital, in-stadium, radio, and social media.

“We’re trying to show that a sports shop is uniquely positioned to speak with a sports voice for any client,” said Wasserman President of Brands & Properties Elizabeth Lindsey.

Wasserman recently consolidated a handful of its agencies into an in-house agency, dubbed Wasserman Creative. Other sports-centric clients for that division include Gatorade and Stanley (for its Lionel Messi ads), and its agencies have worked with Nike’s Jordan Brand.

Wasserman, which handles consulting for MLB sponsors Booking.com and Sage, joins a roster of MLB creative shops, which include Wieden+Kennedy and Good Sports Creative. An MLB spokesman specified that Wasserman’s assignment was confined to MLBShop.
