Italy-based Deltatre is significantly expanding its streaming capabilities with the acquisition of Endeavor Streaming, which powers a number of marquee properties like UFC Fight Pass (a league with media rights still out in the market). The sale of Endeavor Streaming is the latest for Endeavor Group Holdings, which has unloaded a number of assets recently as the company was taken private by Silver Lake. Between Deltatre and Endeavor Streaming, the two companies’ sports and media properties now include the NFL, UFC, WNBA’s Sky and Fever (a deal signed in May), Rogers Sportsnet, the NBA, WWE, MLB, LIV Golf, the ICC, World Rugby and UEFA. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close in Q3, were not disclosed. Weil, Gotshal & Manges served as legal advisor to Deltatre, and New Deal Advisors worked on the financials. Latham & Watkins was legal advisor to Endeavor, with The Raine Group acting as financial advisor.
In 2022, Bain Capital and Nextalia acquired Deltatre from Bruin Capital. This past spring, SBJ named Endeavor Streaming President Fred Santarpia a Power Player in Sports Streaming. The company has also had partnerships with the Mavericks to launch MavsTV and helped rebrand Longhorn Network with Learfield.
