Sponsorship has always been somewhat secondary to media for Geico. But the Berkshire Hathaway-owned insurer has significant assets, including deals with the ACC, MLB, NASCAR, NHL and the NCAA. In the competitive and marketing-noisy insurance category, every brand needs a well-stocked arsenal. Seth Fishbein, with Geico since 2023, has zeroed in on media integrations, including a “Thursday Night Football” program with Amazon; “4th Star of the Year” with the NHL; and the “More Baseball” MLB platform. Charlie Lent, an eight-year Geico veteran, sets strategy and executes deals, including a three-team jersey rights partnership with Monumental Sports across the Washington Wizards and Mystics and Capital City Go-Go.
