A “massive structure” built for UFC Freedom 250 is temporarily on display in Lititz, Pa., ahead of UFC’s seven-fight card at the White House set for June 14, according to Josh Peter of USA TODAY. The Lititz Record Express posted a photo of the structure on the newspaper’s Facebook page Monday, and the town’s sneak peek “quickly began to circulate on social media.” Lititz Warwick Township Board of Supervisors member Jeremy Strathmeyer mentioned that the structure is “90 feet tall and 120 feet by 120 feet on the ground.” He said that the supervisors on April 15 approved a special request from TAIT Global LLC to “test the structure at its facility on Furnace Hills Pike.” According to the Lititz Record Express, it is “a temporary open-air studio structure to serve as the centerpiece” during the UFC’s seven-fight card at the White House. The structure was set up in a matter of days. Strathmeyer added that he left town Friday and “thinks the structure already might be down.” Strathmeyer said, “I think they dissembled it and put it in 18-wheelers and they’re getting ready to transport it down to Washington. That was the plan” (USA TODAY, 4/20).
