SoFi Center, home to TGL, is available for other functions, from a “private party for 10 or major gala of more than 1,000,” to guests wanting to “try out the building’s biggest attraction,” according to Tom D’Angelo of the PALM BEACH POST. The price point ranges “from $10,000 to more than $100,000.” TMRW Sports SVP/Live Events Andrew George said, “Originally, everyone was like, ‘Well, I want to play TGL because I saw it on TV.’” He added, “Now, you’ve got fundraisers that are doing multiples of hundreds of thousands of dollars in here. You got fireside chats that never touch field of play. It can be a welcome reception for 1,500, or it can be an intimate activity for a sales conference for 20 to 50.” D’Angelo noted All Elite Wrestling will hold an event at the venue on May 9, erecting a “20-by-20-foot ring between the tee boxes used for TGL and capacity will be more than 1,500, including ringside standing room space.” TMRW Sports Manager/Premium Hospitality & Private Events George Hirsch said, “If you asked us a year ago, ‘Do you think you could do a wrestling event here?’ We’d probably say, ‘I don’t think so.’ We’ve been able to kind of get creative and work within the parameters of (the SoFi Center).” D’Angelo noted SoFi recently hosted its 100th event outside TGL. TGL has a long-term partnership with Palm Beach State College that includes a 20-year lease. The league also has made donations in excess of $1M to the school (PALM BEACH POST, 4/24).
