Ahead of the Kentucky Derby, DraftKings’ DK Horse app was the most-downloaded free sports app, followed by the Churchill Downs Inc.-owned TwinSpires, per data from Sensor Tower. But while DK Horse on Saturday saw a 45% drop in year-over-year downloads, TwinSpires was up 56%. DK Horse still maintained a 20% lead over TwinSpires. Kentucky Derby markets were not available on any prediction platforms (SBJ).
REUNITED: ESPN’s “First Take” will see commentator Stephen A. Smith join former co-host Skip Bayless live in L.A. on Friday, marking their first time together on the show since June 2016. Additional guest appearances during the week will be rapper Cam’ron on Tuesday and The Kid Mero on Thursday (ESPN).
GOING LIVE: Sinclair’s AMP Sports today announced a nationwide campaign and series of live fan shows for “Unfiltered Soccer,” the podcast hosted by former USMNT players Landon Donovan and Tim Howard. AMP Sports will host three “Unfiltered Soccer Live” events in L.A., Dallas, and N.Y., offering fan experiences to accompany live pod recordings, as well as exclusive access to Donovan and Howard.
