This year’s class, selected by the SBJ Tech editorial team, used technology to push the sports industry forward and project to continue doing so — whether by solving an old business problem or creating something new.
These companies have used technology to:
- Change how fans view technology or how the sports industry operates
- Improve the fan experience in a novel and tangible manner
- Enhance athlete performance
Sports Business Awards: Tech
Learn more about the nominees for the fourth annual Sports Business Awards: Tech, which celebrate the most significant advancements in sports technology from the past year.
These nominees were selected by the SBJ Tech editorial team from a pool of hundreds of submissions, then evaluated by an expert panel of external judges. The judges determined the winners in eight categories, and a ninth award — “Sports Technology of the Year” — is chosen from the other winners (excluding Technology Executive of the Year and the Next In Sports Tech: Rising Woman of the Year presented by Next League).
The awards will be presented at a ceremony May 18 at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City, kicking off SBJ Tech Week.
