BASEBALL

REV Entertainment, the sports and entertainment arm of the Texas Rangers, hired NATHAN WOOLDRIDGE as assistant vice president of business development. Wooldridge was president of Peak Events.

BASKETBALL

The Dallas Mavericks named MIKE SCHMITZ general manager. Schmitz was assistant general manager for the Portland Trail Blazers.

FACILITIES

Oak View Group named ALBERT POWELL vice president of national sales of OVG Global Partnerships and promoted KATIE HAREL to managing director of OVG Hospitality.

The Sports Facilities Companies hired AMANDA SHANK as partner and executive vice president. Shank was executive vice president of strategic initiatives at Unrivaled Sports.

GOLF

Concert Golf Partners hired JAVIER ROSENBERG as chief operating officer. Rosenberg was president of Northwood Hospitality.

The PGA of America named JASON SOUCY championship director for the 2028 PGA Championship at The Olympic Club in San Francisco. Soucy was championship director for the 2025 edition of the event at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte.

HOCKEY

The Minnesota Wild announced multiple moves with AHL affiliate Iowa Wild, naming MARIA TROJE president and alternate governor; MICHAEL MURRAY governor; and ALLIE KORINEK and MATT HENDRICKS alternate governors.

LEGAL

Davis Polk named JASON RUSSELL partner in the civil litigation practice for its new Los Angeles office. Russell was a partner in the complex litigation and trials practice for Skadden.

Paul Hastings LLP named MARK ZERDIN partner, based in its London office. Zerdin was co-head of sports practice at Slaughter and May.

MARKETING

Elevate hired OLLY DALE as managing partner of Europe and Asia. Dale was general manager of Kroenke Signature Properties.

RETAIL

Fanatics named JAMIE GERSCH chief marketing officer of its Fanatics Commerce division. Gersch held the same post at Rothy’s.

SOCCER

The Colorado Rapids hired JUSTYNE FREUD as senior vice president of marketing and brand strategy and ELIZABETH DEFEO as vice president of partnerships. Freud was vice president of marketing and communications for San Diego Wave FC. DeFeo was vice president of client services for Octagon.

SPORTS COMMISSIONS

The Greensboro Sports Foundation hired BRAD HECKER as vice president of events and operations. Hecker was assistant commissioner of women’s basketball for the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Louisville Tourism hired LISA SHANAHAN as director of Midwest sales, effective May 26.

TECHNOLOGY

Agilitek Solutions hired DANIEL BANKS as vice president of marketing services. Banks was vice president of digital marketing solutions at Leap Event Technology.

ALT Sports Data named JAKE CASSADAY chief executive officer. Cassaday was chief operating officer of Playmaker Capital.

YOUTH SPORTS

AIM Sports Group hired JOSEPH JABLONSKI as executive vice president of volleyball properties. Jablonski was director of volleyball for the Amateur Athletic Union.

GameChanger named VIVEK BEDI chief product and technology officer.
