Franchise Notes

In Raleigh, Drew Jackson noted the Lenovo Center will hold watch parties “for every away game” of the Stanley Cup Final between the Hurricanes and the Golden Knights. Game 1 is Tuesday night in Raleigh. Tickets to all Canes home games are “essentially sold out, with the cheapest resale tickets around $1,000.” For the Vegas games, fans can “sit in the stands of the Lenovo Center and watch the game on the jumbotron.” It is “unclear if the Canes will charge admission to the arena or parking fees” for the watch parties (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 5/31).

HOLDING PATTERN: In St. Paul, Charley Walters wrote the Twins “plan to keep” the 10,000 replica jerseys of 3B Royce Lewis they had planned to give out ahead of this Saturday game against the Royals for a “potential future Lewis call-up.” Lewis was demoted to Triple-A last week (St. Paul PIONEER PRESS, 5/30).
