2026 Sports PR Summit hits D.C.

The 2026 Sports PR Summit, hosted by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, takes place Wednesday in D.C., bringing together senior communications, PR and digital media execs from across the sports industry. The event will feature conversations with some of the most influential voices in sports, including league commissioners, team owners and execs, athletes and award-winning journalists, with discussions focused on topics ranging from crisis communications and athlete branding to digital strategy and the evolving media landscape. Those speaking include NBA EVP/Communications Mike Bass, NWSL club Washington Spirit CEO Kim Stone and Unrivaled Commissioner Micky Lawler. In addition, Bass and senior sports communications executive and educator Mary Scott will each receive the Sports PR Summit Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony. Both will participate in an on-stage discussion about their careers and how the sports PR industry has evolved (SBJ).
