Storm G Flau’jae Johnson is “signing a multiyear deal with Unrivaled,” according to Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com. Johnson first got involved with the 3-on-3 league in 2024 when she became one of the first two players to sign an NIL deal with the league, alongside now-Wings G Paige Bueckers. Johnson then “deepened her relationship with Unrivaled” in 2025 when she became part of the “Future Is Unrivaled” initiative. An Unrivaled spokesperson said that “more than 90% of the players who participated in Unrivaled’s second season are returning for the third,” which will tip off in January (ESPN.com, 6/22). THE ATHLETIC’s Annie Costabile notes Johnson’s Unrivaled club has “yet to be determined.” The league hosted an internal draft last fall after adding two teams, the Breeze and Hive. It is “unclear how the league will navigate roster construction heading into its third season or whether it will be adding new teams.” Meanwhile, Wings G Azzi Fudd, another 2026 WNBA draft pick, is set to play in Project B (THE ATHLETIC, 6/22).
