Sources: Clippers Reject Stern's "Steep" Demands For Paul Trade

Sources said that the Clippers "rejected NBA commissioner David Stern 's steep demands to complete a trade for" Hornets G Chris Paul , and "talks of a blockbuster deal perished." Sources "didn't preclude the talks from re-starting." One agent said of trying to negotiate deals with the league-owned Hornets, "Stern has made them inoperable. I've given up trying to do anything with them until the Paul situation is resolved."
