Top Mariners Execs Accused Of Workplace Misconduct In '09-10

News surfaced today that three women accused now-Mariners President & CEO  Kevin Mather and other team execs of "inappropriate workplace conduct" in '09-10. They also involved then-team President  Chuck Armstrong  and then-Exec VP  Bob Aylward . The complaints first surfaced in '09-10 and "roiled the organization internally, triggering reviews and staff-wide sexual-harassment seminars." The three women involved "left their jobs," while all three execs "remained in their positions, and two were later promoted." Mariners Chair John Stanton "declined to answer whether the team has paid settlements or disciplined any executives for misconduct this past decade" ( SEATTLETIMES.com, 7/25 ).
