230,000 -- New mobile sports betting accounts created in Illinois, after a July executive order by Gov. J.B. Pritzker temporarily allowed remote registration for sports bettors. The 230,000 number would have been a fraction of that with the state's in-person registration requirement in effect, according to analysts for PlayIllinois. The remote registration window is again open at least until Saturday (PlayUSA.com Network).
