Vanderbilt announced a $300M "athletics capital campaign for facility upgrades and athletics programs." The university "will invest $100 million," and $100M in donor commitments are "already secured." For the campaign, Vanderbilt has identified "big-ticket items" including new football and basketball facilities as well as stadium upgrades that "will include premium seating options, hospitality space, upgraded food and beverage options and other fan amenities." It is the "most significant announcement for Vanderbilt athletics facility upgrades in decades" (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 3/29).
