Sacramento Republic FC and Western Health Advantage unveiled a multiyear expansion of their sponsorship deal, which includes naming rights to what is now being referred to as Heart Health Park. Financial terms were not provided. Dating back to '17, Republic FC’s home was called Papa Murphy’s Park as part of a deal with Washington state-based pizza chain Papa Murphy’s. Sacramento-based Western Health Advantage is one of three founding-level sponsors of Republic FC, a deal that originated with the USL club’s inaugural season in '14.
Leading the talks for Republic FC were VP/Community Investment Scott Moak and Chief Revenue Officer Dustin Vicari, who is also an Elevate Sports Ventures Exec VP. Western Health Advantage President & CEO Garry Maisel and Chief Experience Officer Rick Heronworked on the agreement from that side. The club is still searching for investor backing after Ron Burkle backed out in late February of supporting the team's eventual transition to MLS.
