Aramark's Q4, FY numbers show pandemic recovery

Aramark unveiled its Q4 and FY '21 financial results this morning, with the company growing revenue 32% in the quarter and bagging a record $500M in new business, five times higher than the previous five-year average of around $90M in new business annually. Headed into FY '22, Aramark’s overall revenue is at 90% of pre-COVID levels.

The company’s Sports & Entertainment sector added new college business with Arizona, N.C. State and Virginia Tech becoming F&B clients during the past year. Meanwhile, widespread Q4 stadium and arena reopenings in the U.S., particularly in the NFL and MLB, also helped the division’s performance. Aramark serves a combined 29 NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB and MLS teams.
