At an average price of $824, tickets at SoFi Stadium will "cost nearly $300 more than an average ticket" for the Bengals-Chiefs AFC Championship game. The $824 price point is "significantly higher than the previous NFC championship game that was played with fans attending." Two years ago, fans "paid an average of $525" for 49ers-Packers (L.A. TIMES, 1/28). Ticket sales for the game earlier this week were also on record pace for StubHub (SBJ).
Meanwhile, according to TickPick, the average purchase price for the AFC title game is "now $556 and the get-in price is $509." That "makes it the third-most expensive AFC Championship Game ticket price ever," trailing Patriots-Jaguars in '18 ($754) and last year’s Chiefs-Bills contest ($893) (K.C. STAR, 1/28).
