NBC Sports and the LPGA unveiled the new programming mark for Golf Channel coverage of women's pro tournaments, incorporating the LPGA's “swinging lady” logo with the classic Golf Channel logo. The new logo will serve as the programming mark for NBC Sports’ more than 600 hours of LPGA tourney coverage this season on Golf Channel. The logo will make its debut this week at the JTBC Classic beginning tomorrow. This comes after Golf Channel earlier this month introduced its new network brand incorporating the PGA Tour “swingman” into the iconic Golf Channel logo. For tournament coverage managed by other rightsholders, the most recent iteration of the Golf Channel logo will continue to be utilized (NBC Sports).
