ESPN is collaborating with artists across musical genres on three remixes of the “NHL on ESPN” theme song, marking the first Stanley Cup Playoffs on the net since '04. Producer Murda Beatz, alternative rock band Joywave and EDM duo Zeds Dead are each creating their own renditions of the track. The remixes will debut at different dates throughout the playoffs: Murda Beatz' version for Round 1, Joywave for Round 2 and Zeds Dead for the Stanley Cup Conference Finals. All will run across TV as part of round-specific spots, as well as on ESPN Radio and on social media across ESPN, NHL and the artists' handles.
Meanwhile, Devils D P.K. Subban is returning to ESPN's NHL coverage as an analyst throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He joins "The Point" tonight at 5:00pm ET on ESPN2 and ESPN+ (SBJ).
