Networks set for full NFL schedule release coverage

A clearer picture of the '22 NFL season will finally come into focus tonight as NFL Network will "simulcast the release of the full 17-game schedules along with FS1" at 8:00pm ET. The NFL Network's show is "expected to last three hours with Rich Eisen hosting the coverage along with a range of analysts, including Michael Irvin, Steve Mariucci and Cynthia Frelund, along with Kurt Warner, Kay Adams, Peter Schrager, Kyle Brandt, Dan Hanzus, Gregg Rosenthal, Marc Sessler and Rachel Bonnetta." ESPN has NBA playoffs coverage, so ESPN2 will have its "own show surrounding the release of the NFL schedules, which will be hosted by Laura Rutledge, Tedy Bruschi, Damien Woody and Adam Schefter." ESPN's "Monday Night Football" pairing of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will also make appearances on the broadcast (SPORTINGNEWS.com, 5/12).
