The UCF Athletics Association is looking to "extend its naming rights deal with Addition Financial for the school’s basketball venue," according to a Board of Trustees agenda. The credit union acquired the naming rights to UCF Arena in 2013 in a 7-year, $3.95M deal, and recently began to "negotiate the terms of a new deal" with the school. The UCFAA is "seeking approval for a 12-year deal worth $20 million" with Addition that would "go into effect on Jan. 1, 2023." The board is "scheduled to meet Thursday morning" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 8/16).
