The Big South Conference has named Missouri Valley Conference Deputy Commissioner Sherika Montgomery as its new commissioner. Montgomery becomes the fourth commissioner in conference history, and will officially begin her duties on May 15. She replaces Kyle Kallander who is retiring at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season after 27 years (Big South).
