The Premier League officially opened an international office in N.Y., with the goal of continuing the growth of the EPL and its clubs in the U.S. The EPL will seek to deliver more opportunities for fans in the U.S. to engage with the league, while developing partnerships and content strategies to deepen relationships with existing supporters as well as attracting new fans. Former NBA, NFL and MLS exec Akash Jain was appointed the U.S. Managing Dir to lead the N.Y. office. The opening of the N.Y. office comes as the EPL Summer Series kicks off for the first time, with six clubs playing matches across five East Coast cities. The EPL opened its first international office in Singapore in 2019 (EPL).
