Roush Fenway Racing Lands New Sponsor For Driver Bubba Wallace In Leidos

Roush Fenway Racing this afternoon will announce that it has landed a new multi-race sponsor for Xfinity Series driver Bubba Wallace in Northern Virginia-based science-and-technology firm Leidos. Leidos, which is also the jersey sponsor for DC United, will be the primary sponsor on Wallace’s No. 6 Ford for four races throughout the rest of ‘16. It will start during Chase races at Dover Speedway in October and continue through Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway. The announcement is important news for RFR, which has been working for months not just to fill Wallace’s open inventory but also try to find him a long-term sponsor, which he has been in search of for years. “We’re thrilled to welcome Leidos particularly in the role of anchor partner for Bubba during The Chase,” said RFR Senior VP/Sales Brian Cleek. “We have shared cultures with a strong passion of support for the military and we’re looking forward to Leidos being an important partner of Bubba now and moving forward.”
