The Broncos have been working to find a new stadium naming-rights partner, and team President Joe Ellis said that he "hopes to have a new deal in place before preseason games," according to Nick Groke of the DENVER POST. Ellis: “I would like to see it resolved before we play a game there. We’ve got to get to the right deal. It’s important in terms of how we’re going to fund improvements and repairs.” Groke notes the Broncos hired WME-IMG to "help find a suitable naming rights partner." Ellis said that the process has "extended because a new deal might include real estate transactions or other extra-stadium components." Ellis: "I’m confident we’ll be able to move it along once we get going" (DENVER POST, 1/13).
