Chargers Make First Major Exec Hire Since Move, Bring In Jim Rushton As CRO

The Chargers have hired JIM RUSHTON as the club’s first Chief Revenue Officer, the first major exec move the team has made since relocating to L.A. earlier this year from San Diego. Rushton comes from a short stint at IBM, where he was partner and Global Leader of the Sports & Entertainment consulting practice. He joined IBM in '15 from the Dolphins, where he also was Chief Revenue Officer. Rushton will manage revenue-generating businesses for the Chargers, including ticket and suite sales, sponsorship and media partnership sales, merchandise sales, and guest and client services. He is also responsible for business data and analytics. He will report to Chargers President of Business Operations A.G. SPANOS. Rushton will start with the Chargers the week of May 15.
