NFL Giants fans are "frantically attempting to unload their tickets to the remaining four home games," according to Dave Blezow of the N.Y. POST. As of yesterday afternoon, there "were 8,095 tickets available" on the secondary market for Chiefs-Giants on Sunday. As late as Oct. 27, "just 1,000 tickets were available for that game." The inventory for the Chiefs game is a 91% increase "over last season’s game on a similar weekend." The remaining schedule "looks every bit as bleak." There are 7,960 tickets "available for the Cowboys game on Dec. 10 (average asking price $327), 9,421 for the Eagles on Dec. 17 (average of $257) and whopping 12,274 for the Redskins" on Dec. 31 (average of $213). Those final three games against division opponents are "sure to include a significant amount of fans rooting for the visitors" (N.Y. POST, 11/16). Meanwhile, in N.Y., Mark Sanchez notes Giants President & CEO John Mara "apparently has been replying to outraged fans who have written him letters" (N.Y. POST, 11/16).
