The crew will debut as the primary "MNF" announcers with Titans-Broncos, the second game of the Week 1 "MNF" doubleheader. ESPN's Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call Steelers-Giants in the earlier window of Week 1, marking their NFL broadcasting debut as a team (ESPN). SI.com's Jimmy Traina tweeted, "This is a very good move for ESPN." The Athletic's Richard Deitsch: "If NFL games are played this season, ESPN's audience is going to be served well by the trio." Pro Football Network's Matt Infante: "Assigning @LRiddickESPN to MNF is an absolute home run move."
