MLB, Hyperice Strike Deal for In-Game Muscle Recovery

Hyperice has been named the official recovery technology partner of Major League Baseball. Hyperice, whose products use vibration, compression and heat therapy to support muscle recovery, will have its devices placed inside MLB dugouts and bullpens for players to access during games.

Hyperice will be available to players during the World Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. has also joined the company as an ambassador, becoming the first MLB player to join Hyperice’s roster of athlete ambassadors.

Tatis was among a slew of star athletes to invest in Hyperice’s $47.8 million funding round that was announced earlier this month . The company values itself at $700 million and has similar partnerships with the NBA and UFC.
