Lindsay Amstutz leaves Sinclair's RSNs for new position at OneTeam

OneTeam Partners hired LINDSAY AMSTUTZ from Sinclair’s RSN business to the newly created role of Chief Media Officer. She will start next month, report to OneTeam CEO AHMAD NASSAR and be based in L.A. Amstutz, who was an SBJ "Forty Under 40" honoree in '18, will oversee the production, distribution and monetization of content initiatives. That includes setting up partnerships, acquiring content and producing content in house. The move is a blow to Sinclair, where Amstutz was a Senior VP & GM for the three Southern California RSNs. Sinclair is in the middle of conducting interviews to find Amstutz’ replacement. The RSN group’s President & CEO JEFF KROLIK left the company in August, and CFO & COO BILLY CHAMBERS left in December. OneTeam launched in November '19 as a joint venture of the players associations for the NFL and MLB and RedBird Capital Partners. The group formed to help athletes making money from their in licensing, marketing and media.
