Associated Press Makes FanDuel Exclusive Odds Provider

The Associated Press will now exclusively feature FanDuel’s betting odds as part of an unprecedented, multi-year agreement announced on Tuesday.

Content from FanDuel will be published on the AP news wire, the sportsbook’s widgets will be integrated on APNews.com, and the news organization will incorporate FanDuel’s lines in game previews, lists of daily odds and other relevant sports stories. FanDuel has been innovative in sharing media content, streaming out-of-market games and sharing automated, real-time highlights produced by WSC Sports .

“As sports betting becomes more commonplace, our customers are increasingly asking for this kind of information,” Barry Bedlan, the AP’s global director of text and new markets products, said in a statement. “It makes sense to work with one of the largest reputable sportsbooks in the United States to provide a consistent, credible reference point for AP and its customers.”
