Recovery technology company Therabody has announced soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo as its latest athlete ambassador. Ronaldo will appear in ads to promote the company’s muscle massaging devices across the U.S., U.K., Europe, Canada, Australia, China, and Japan.
Therabody’s investors include NFL stars Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson, the NBA’s Kevin Durant and James Harden, the WNBA’s Breanna Stewart, and Belgian soccer star Romelu Lukaku. The company competes with fellow recovery brand Hyperice, which has league sponsorships with the NFL , NBA, MLB , PGA Tour, and U.S. Soccer.
