Investment App Stash Sponsors San Francisco 49ers to Promote Financial Literacy

Investment app Stash has become the personal investing sponsor of the San Francisco 49ers. The multi-year deal will see the organizations partner to create financial literacy programs for adults and youth in the Bay Area.

Throughout the upcoming NFL season, Stash and the 49ers will offer free financial seminars, educational competitions, and virtual classes that teach the fundamentals of investing; 49ers players will appear in the programs. Financial literacy training will also be added to the curriculum for STEAM education field trips at Levi’s Stadium for K-8 students in the Bay Area.

“San Francisco is an amazing sports city with so much activity and life. Unfortunately, we also know that the wealth gap in the Bay Area is a significant issue that needs to be addressed,” Cedric Davis, senior director of strategy and development at Stash, said in a statement.
