Athletes Unlimited has signed climate-focused financial services company Aspiration to a multiyear sponsorship across all four of its sports leagues. Financial details were not revealed, but the seven-figure deal is the largest signed to date by Athletes Unlimited, which previously partnered with Aspiration for its first two softball seasons. The new partnership will begin in January with the debut of basketball and run through '23, with the goal of making Athletes Unlimited’s operations carbon neutral. The deal features Athletes Unlimited’s first ever jersey sponsorship, with Aspiration patches appearing on uniforms for upcoming basketball and volleyball seasons. The brand will also be a presenting sponsor for five national broadcasts for each sports league under the Athletes Unlimited banner.
