Chicago White Sox All-Star pitcher Lucas Giolito will host two live instructional video classes on youth coaching app Mustard. His first class starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET for premium subscribers who pay $24.99 per month for Mustard.
Mustard , whose IOS app analyzes video of a pitcher’s biomechanics to provide personalized feedback, signed a deal with the MLBPA in March that also saw Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw join Mustard’s board of advisors. Both Kershaw and Giolito will host instructional videos on Mustard, whose investors include LeAD Sports, Drew Brees, Mark Cuban, Justin Rose and the MLSPA.
“I am teaching two [...] interactive video classes discussing my experience going from a young athlete navigating the travel ball, showcase and recruiting environment to how I rebuilt myself,” Giolito, a 2019 All-Star, wrote on Twitter . “My first class will focus on mechanical changes I made in 2019, what you can learn from them and how you can track your progress using the Mustard app.”
