Globe Life Field, the home of MLB’s Texas Rangers, is opening two "Express Grill" concession-food stands that feature Just Walk Out and Amazon One technology. The frictionless activation will be the first of its kind in the Dallas Metroplex.
The Just Walk Out technology is rampant throughout sporting venues, with activations in:
- Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field
- Chicago’s United Center
- Boston’s TD Garden
- Houston’s Minute Maid Park
- Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena
- New York’s UBS Arena
- Texas A&M’s Kyle Field
- Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum
The Amazon One technology gained notoriety last season when a Seattle Kraken fan at Climate Pledge Arena was able to grab a beer, raise his palm to pay and leave the concession stand in exactly 8 seconds.
