Sixes Social Cricket, a Top Golf-style entertainment experience for cricket, has announced funding from international athlete collective 4CAST in advance of its grand opening in the U.S. later this month. The first American location is set to open in suburban Dallas on June 17, not far from Grand Prairie Stadium, which will host the first season of Major League Cricket beginning on July 13. This is the first international outpost of Sixes Social Cricket, which operates seven locations in the U.K. and uses tech-enabled batting nets to give guests a taste of facing live bowling. 4CAST is the creation of English cricketers Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer and test captain Ben Stokes and has been joined by, among others, England national team players in soccer (Tyrone Mings) and rugby (Anthony Watson and Jack Nowell).
