Sportradar has signed a deal with Fox Sports to supply real-time and historic sports data for the network’s telecasts, pushing the data company into broadcast support services for the first time. The deal will involve Sportradar’s Radar360 research/analytics platform, as well as newly developed tools driven in part by machine learning technology. It will involve both the broadcast side of Fox Sports and its cable extensions, such as FS1. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal’s development was led in part by Sportradar Head of Global Partnerships Steve Byrd and Fox Sports Exec VP/Production & Operations Brad Zager .
