USA TODAY writes the SEC "should require" fans to be vaccinated to attend football games this fall in order to increase vaccination rates. All across the SEC, administrators are "counting on full stadiums for football this fall." College football programs across the country are "counting on the vaccination rates nationally to be high enough that COVID-19 is no longer a massive threat to both public health and their business model." But in the "South in particular, college football should take an active role in making that happen." As the South "lags behind the rest of the country, is there any single thing that could be more motivational than telling people they need to show proof of vaccination to get inside Bryant-Denny Stadium or the Swamp?"
