Padres raising season-ticket prices for '22

It "will cost more to watch the Padres play next year," as indicated in an email sent Tuesday afternoon from team CEO Erik Greupner to season-ticket holders. Prices are going up for the '22 season for the first time since '16, and the email said that this will affect "all members." A Padres spokesperson said that "on average, the price increase will be approximately 20 percent." Greupner’s email also said weeknight home games in '22 will start at 6:40pm PT instead of the current 7:10, and the club “may consider even earlier start times in future seasons" (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 8/4).
